two years
I have to admit at one time I was a political junkie. I could not get enough of it. I read what the papers had to say and listened to it all day on the radio. I had a opinion on everything that politics played a role in.
So you might find it strange that I did not watch or listen to the State of the Union Address. It no longer interest me in that way. I felt like that it was going to be a campaign speech. Those supporting and against President Obama have started to run campaign advertisement on the tv and radio. It is just too much and too soon for this. I now understand why people are so turned off by the process.
This country has way too many problems that need to be address, but they never will be if the politicians are always campaigning. It’s sad that it will be two years before anything will get done to address the problems this country faces.
