good vs the bad
The other day I won the chance to be a guest of a recording artist while this recording artist records a couple of songs at studio in Washington DC.
It seemed like a great ideal when I entered, but now I have begun weighing the good and bad parts of this winning.
Good: I get to see one of my favorite artist record songs for an album.
Bad: The recording is in DC.
Good: It gives me a good reason to take a week off for vacation.
Bad: The mess my desk will look like when I get back from the vacation.
Good: I get to visit with a friend that I grew up with.
Bad: He will probably tease me because I am not married yet.
Good: I get to visit all the sites during my free time.
Bad: I will not be able to see all the sites.
Good: I get to drive through some of the beautiful country side on the way to DC.
Bad: I have to put up with the crazy drivers in DC.
As of now that is all the good and bad that I can think of. So far, the goods out weigh the bads.

mosquitoes and malaria
It is getting close to the time for those horrible little mosquitoes. Here in America we really do not have to worry about catching Malaria from mosquitoes.
