A few questions for Ginny and her fans to consider?
If you do not know yet, Ginny Owens is now a indie musician. Ginny has completed her obligation to Rocketown Records and has not signed on with another label yet. With the current trend in Christian music Ginny might have to make a indie album or two before another label comes around to asker her to join them.
I would like to present these questions to you.
1) If Ginny asked you to take a chance and preorder a new album before she even stepped into the studio to record it, would you preorder the album? I know that this sounds strange, but some of established indie musicians have made that request. The one thing is it could be up to a year later when you might receive the album. When Shaun Groves asked his fans to finance the cost of doing a live alum with the understanding it would be counted as a preorder of the live album, if they contributed more then ten dollars, some of early contributors waited almost six months to receive the album. It just took that long to record and to produce the album
2) If Ginny asked her fans to help her make a new website by contributing to the cost of making it and maintaining it, would you be willing to?
3) If Ginny asked her fans to help support her ministries and asked her fans join her for a week or a weekend at a habitat build, would you be willing to?
4) If Ginny asked her fans to street team for her, because it is hard for indie musicians to get their music into stores or on the radio, would you be willing to?
5) Would you be more willing to be active with Ginny’s website, not her myspace page, if Ginny had a blog and participated in the discussions?
