Did we do the right thing?
It is amazing how one views or beliefs change over a given period of time. Right after 9/11 I wanted blood to be spilled over the loss of life. I did not care who would die over this need for revenge. Six years later I am not sure we did the right thing by going to war.
As I sit here, I wonder did we stop God from bringing His justice into play. Is it not our job as followers of Christ to love our enemies? Does this mean that we do not use violence ie military force to punish those whom harm us? I am beginning to believe that we should have fallen to our knees as followers of Christ and asked God to bring His justice. Did our action cause the world to look at all followers of Christ as double talkers?
I want justice to be done. I want the world to be safe. I just do not know how it is to be done
